CES Omega UPS is a modern uninterruptible power supply unit made with true online technology. The CES Omega UPS features pure sine wave voltage and has 1-phase input and output power. The efficiency of this uninterruptible power supply is even above 98%. Depending on the user's needs, it can be installed in a Rack or Tower version.

Characteristics

True online technology in the CES Omega RT 1-10 kVA UPS - best power quality

The CES Omega UPS is made with true online technology which means that it is isolated from the mains supply. The voltage the UPS delivers at its output, whether it is 1kVA, 2kVA or 6kVA, is pure sine wave. Thanks to this solution, the power supply provides the highest quality power supply. It can therefore be used for the most sensitive equipment.

Parallel operation mode for 6kVA and 10kVA UPS

The parallel operation port is provided by Omega 6 kVA and 10 kVA UPSs. The UPS operates in an N+X structure, which is the most reliable and increases the safety of the system. For example, two individual UPSs form a parallel arrangement for the load. If one UPS malfunctions, the other can independently take over the entire load. This improves reliability in the event of a malfunctioning UPS and, in accordance with various user requirements
user, each UPS should have a manual service bypass switch.

 

Communication in the Omega RT power supply

Communication ports

Users can monitor the UPS system via a communication port such as a standard RS232 port and a standard USB port using a computer. With a communication cable to connect the UPS and the computer, the UPS can be easily managed.

 EPO port

EPO - Emergency Power Off. The EPO port is located on the rear panel of the UPS. In some emergency cases, users can immediately switch off power to the UPS loads by activating the EPO port.

Expansion cards - optional

The CES OMEGA series of online UPS has an intelligent type expansion slot on the rear panel. The slot is designed for an SNMP card, a dry contact card or an RS485 card. Users can insert the expansion card of their choice from the above to monitor and manage the operation of the UPS. The UPS does not need to be shut down during the installation of the expansion card.

SNMP card

The SNMP card for the UPS is compatible with most available software, hardware and operating systems. It is used for network management so that the UPS can be communicated with over the Internet, read information about the UPS status and input power, etc.  The card can control the UPS via a network management system using the SNMP protocol.

Dry contact card and RS485

These are further cards for intelligent management and monitoring of the Omega RT UPS.
