PI/P passing insulators are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester, they are red in color. The characteristic feature of the type is the transfer of potential from one terminal of the insulator to another (continuity of the metal screw) with full insulation against the mounting plate in which the insulator is mounted.
The main application is in the production of electrical and power-electronic equipment where the enclosures or structural elements are made of conductive materials such as: sheet metal, and there is a need to bring out the output terminals for external cable connections.
The above solution gives the opportunity to fully protect the interior of the device from interference by the customer and allows for easy external connections.
