A lithium bromide absorption heat pump is a thermal power unit that recovers and transfers low-temperature waste heat to a high-temperature heat source for process heating or zone heating.
This heating unit can be supplied with heat energy from steam, domestic hot water, natural gas, etc. An aqueous solution of LiBr (lithium bromide) serves as the recirculating working medium, with LiBr acting as the absorbent and water acting as the refrigerant.
The main components of an absorption heat pump include: generator, condenser, evaporator, absorber, heat exchanger, automatic vent pump system, vacuum pump and casing pump.
