Super durable genset

The MWM TCG 2016 V16 brand CHP unit has been operating since 2008 at the Krośniewice landfill site, located in central Poland. The engine was installed in a 40' container. Landfill gas as a fuel is one of the most aggressive and difficult to operate. So definitely the operating conditions, the environment and the type of application did not help in achieving this result. The main reason for achieving 100,000 operating hours without overhaul is the excellent quality of this unit, which is robust and durable. The realisation in Krosniewice only confirms this.

However, the continued efficiency of the genset would not have been achieved without the regular maintenance and occasional repairs carried out by the authorised service of Centrum Elektroniki Stosowanej. It was them who kept this unit running and learned a lot from it, as this is the first MWM CHP unit installed by CES, in such a demanding environment. As a curiosity, we can add that the service of this deserving engine is handled by the most experienced service technician - the same one who changed the first spark plug in it.
