Inverter N. 5000-production completed
Main features
- Very high reduction of harmonics entering the power grid (in relation to nn inverters) - thanks to the multi-pulse rectifier used at the input
- Limited rate of change of voltage over time (du/dt), which significantly reduces additional power losses in the motor and limits the generated electromagnetic interference.
-
The inverter consists of three sections:
- Input section: 36-pulse input circuit with a multi-winding transformer (insulation class H)Inverter section: 6 IGBT 630V modules connected in series of so-called "cells", giving 6600Vac per phase. A system with very high reliability: in case of damage to a "cell", the inverter can continue to work after its automatic by-pass.
- Possibility of very fast replacement (the cells are in a rack version)
- Control section based on microprocessor system, communication systems and control HMI panel (redundant system)
Characteristics
N.5000 medium voltage inverters are a modern drive solution for large power motors 300 kW - 5 MW operating in industrial applications. The supply voltage range is: 3.3kV...6kV...11kV.
The N.5000 inverter complies with the strictest harmonic emission standards - IEEE 519 1992, without the need for additional filters.
The main benefits of using 6 kV inverters from the N.5000 series
- Can be used in new as well as old retrofitted installations
- Precise and energy-efficient speed control of 6kV motors
- Ability to place the inverter anywhere along the motor power route
- No cable and motor replacement required
- Elimination of voltage-reducing transformers
- Increase the efficiency of the entire drive
- Utilization of typical rated voltage of motors
